People in the Corporate Function career track contribute to the running of Royal Recruitment as a high- performance business through specialization within a specific functional area and grow into internally focused roles by deepening their skills and/or developing new skills within an internal functional area.Human resources is involved in every part of Royal Recruitment’s organization and human Resources activities fall into roughly three categories: Talent management, including workforce planning, recruiting, career management, performance management, capability development, scheduling and rewards; Employee engagement, which focuses on people satisfaction and employee and alumni relations; and Human capital efficiency, which focuses on HR strategy, the operating structure, HR technology, HR service delivery and internal controls.Human Resources professionals develop and execute HR strategies, programs and services across one or more parts of the employee lifecycle to attract, develop and retain a highly engaged and differentiated workforce that enables the execution of human capital and business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to HR Operations Specialist in the delivery of processes at the country level for the People Services Team (Employee Relations & Policies, Internal Controls & Compliance and Records and Document Management).


Areas of work:
1. Payroll: Support HR Operations Specialist in processing the two monthly payroll cycles. Resolve Payroll queries and Payroll software.

2. Workday/SAP User & Workday/SAP Data Champion: Maintain data accurate in Workday and SAP. Work closely with Global team to resolve all system errors, communicate system changes to team. Cleaning of systems error reports daily.

3. Policies Country POC: Support the creation of new polices and ensure the regular review of existing policies according to business needs, best practices and as may be required by changes in legislation.

4. On Boarding: Support in organizing and conducting the bi-weekly New Joiners Orientation sessions; coordinate participants’ sessions and deliver HR related sessions.

5. Automation: Supporting the HR Operations Specialist in automating HR processes and procedures to reduce time, increase accuracy and assure compliance.

6. Human Resources Admin: Work closely with HR Operations in creating re-usable solutions, process or work product and propose improvements. Support the processing of general HR People Services related tasks including: all onboarding administration (new hire paperwork), offboarding administration (for all termination types), Leaves of Absence (LOA’s), part-time working arrangements, Workday/SAP updates, personnel memorandums, transfers, ADP agreements, Ad hoc reporting, data analysis.

7. Internal Controls and Compliance:a. Support HR audits (internal & external) by providing required reports and evidences of execution of processes.b. Support in the execution of internal controls where the HR Operations Specialist is the control owner including the quarterly DE and OEc. Monthly onboarding and offboarding audits.

8. Information Security: Asset Stewart for Human Resources. Keep Archer eGRC Tool updated with various controls attached to HR assets e.g. SharePoints and zippels for storing employee files (hard copies).

9. SharePoints / HR Email and security groups: Support in maintaining various HR SharePoints and HR Distribution Lists.

10. HR Handbook LU: Work closely with HR Operations Specialist to create a HR Handbook. Liaise with other HR teams and ensure their processes and procedures are duly documented and filed as per the HR Compliance requirements. Ensure new items and updates are posted to the HR Handbook.
